The plantation is just a few miles north of Lake Marion, 110,000 acres and referred to as South Carolina’s inland sea. Lake Marion is known for its big fish and abundant wildlife. It attracts migratory waterfowl by the thousands. The state fishing record for largemouth bass (16.2 lbs.) was set at this lake. Lake Marion is a year around attraction.
