Easterlee is a 1582 acre quail hunting plantation located in Lee County, Georgia, northeast of Albany. The property is designated on Rena Divine’s map of “Plantations of Southwest Georgia”. Since 2004 the property has been intensively managed for “wild quail” following the best management practices consistent with other fine plantations located throughout the area. The plantation contains a diverse habitat of open pine woodlands, irrigated crop fields, and mixed pine and hardwood acreage. In addition to the native quail population the plantation offers deer, duck, turkey and excellent dove hunting. Improvements on the property include two houses, shop, grain bin, equipment shed, kennels, stables and irrigation systems.
